I love it. I know it's all a bit provincial but it just appeals to me somehow. I love Imelda Staunton and think she's wonderful as the gossipy Miss Pole. I hope they make another series this year.

I've never watched it. I tend to avoid any period dramas, I'm not sure why because when I've accidentally watched them (been at my sisters or something) then I've enjoyed them, but when I'm at home I can't bring myself to watch them.
