The trailer looks great, I am really looking forward to this one. I loved the other Mummy films and Jet Li is just amazing.

Re: The Mummy
I liked the other Mummy films too but Evie's got a new head for this one. That's going to be a bit strange.

Re: The Mummy
Went to see this tonight. I thought it was quite good, if you liked the other ones anyway.

Re: The Mummy
I'm going to see it this week. Typically the cinema has decided to show Journey to the Centre of the Earth which actually came out last month as well. I wanted to see both, but at £20 a time for the 3 of us its a dear do.

Re: The Mummy
We went this afternoon and I loved it. I relaly want ed Jet Li to win though
Even as he's getting older he's still gorgeous
Yes Lou, for younger kids it would be a bit scary, although my two are quite hardened to scary things and they arent bothered by them anymore (films anyway, the York Dungeons scared the pants off Lauren
)
I didnt think the new Evie was as good as the old one, I wonder why Rachel Weisz didnt want to do this one?
Its definitely one I'll be getting on DVD as well.

Depends which version you believe.
1. She has a young child and didn't want to be away from home for months (even though she could have taken the child with her)
2. She was insulted at being expected to be "mum" to a grown-up son and insisted she was too young for the part.

Re: The Mummy
Well if I had to pick I'd say #1 was a more reasonable explanation. I would like to hear about a celeb mum that put her kids first, rather than the likes of Beckham who puts her career first and her kids are brought up by nannies.
I cant say I've seen a recent picture of her, so I dont know if she looks old enough to be Alex's mum. But Brendan Fraiser looked old enough to be his dad, so she wouldnt be far off!

Re: The Mummy
She's ten years older than the boy who played her son, but surely an accomplished actress could pull off a role like that? Sean Connery wasn't old enough to be Harrison Ford's dad in Indiana Jones.

Re: The Mummy
No definitely not, but he played it to perfection. But then again Sean Connery could pretty much pull anything off
