A Christmas Carol

Post by HiJo on Fri Dec 18, 2009 11:26 pm

Went to see the 3D version tonight. I enjoyed it, but I've always loved the tale anyway. Even the Ross Kemp version. Shocked

Our miserable cinema never shows any of the films in 3D Sad It's really annoying.

That's a shame, Lou. You should email them, tell them to get the equipment, cos there's a few 3D films coming up next year.

We went today and watched Planet 51, there was a trailer for a film that looked really good, that is coming out in 3D too, so I hope they get the equipment soon (although they'll probably put the prices right up)

There's a supplement to see a 3D film, so you might be better not bothering Lou. Evil or Very Mad

Hmm it's dear enough as it is. It cost £22.50 yesterday for me and the two kids (with 3x children's popcorn, because the adult popcorn is way too expensive). And for that you get a seat with no leg room and it's either too hot or too cold, but the kids like it! Although we only go about twice a year at that price.

It's outrageous, Lou. When we had kids to pay for, a trip to the cinema was a very rare occurrence. I think we saw the main Christmas film and the main summer film and that was it. Razz
