I felt sorry for Liz, losing her only child. She looked like she was jumping to conclusions when she saw Denise being taken away by the police. I thought it was strange that Denise's main concern seemed to be what would happen to her if Lucas was locked up for years. That seemed more important to her than how Libby might feel.

The Peggy and Glenda fight looks neverending. Sometimes Peggy's winning, sometimes Glenda. Tonight, it was Peggy.

I thought the Graeme and Tina picnic in the park was very sweet, but I can't stop thinking that Tina really is a bit of a slapper. David wasn't far wrong when he accused her of working her way through every man in the street, this is the third one she's had. But I do like Graeme and I think it's great he's moving in with Emily and Norris.

I'm still enjoying Mary too. Her choice of venue for Hayley's wedding (mullioned windows, two priest holes and a ha ha) was a wonderful scene but I hope ...

We spent most of the episode outside Walford for a change. The crew must have been over the moon, two different locations

I don't understand what the writers are trying to do with Pat and Peggy. If Peggy feels close enough to Pat for her to be the first person she turned to with her cancer scare, why does she feel the need to run Pat down all the time, to other people? If they're the good friends they're supposed to be, would they really lie to each other over this man they've known for ...

I only saw one episode this week, Monday's, with Gail's trial.

Why have the writers made Ken and Deirdre so stupid, speculating that Tracey must be telling the truth because she'd have no reason to lie? They know her well enough to be thinking "what has she been promised, to make her lie like this?"

One criticism aimed at it was that "the girls" (puh-leese! The youngest of them is 44!) are too difficult to empathize with now.
I was so surprised at the final scene. I never though Masood would do something like that but I can't blame him. The biggest mystery is how this lovely man has lived for so long with such an annoying woman, a control freak with more than her share of bitchiness, someone who doesn't care a toss about other people's opinions. To see Mas finally lose patience with her, that scene at the table with Tamwar was so well done. The poor lad kept trying to get away, can't say I blame him.

The death of a 17-month-old boy after months of abuse, despite him being on an at-risk register, has sparked a review of child protection in England.

It comes as two men were found guilty of causing his death in August 2007.

The boy, from Haringey, north London, suffered 50 injuries, and the case has revealed a series of failings by social workers, health workers and police.

The case is described as worse than that of Victoria ...

A woman handed an Asbo for having sex too loudly with her husband has escaped a prison sentence after admitting breaching it within days of it being imposed.

Caroline and Steve Cartwright's sex life was so loud the local postman and a woman taking her child to school complained.

Cartwright, 48, was first hit with a noise abatement notice, and then when she breached that the tougher Asbo was imposed, ordering her to quieten down in the bedroom. Almost immediately after it was imposed she ...

What a lot of hypocrites live in Walford. How could there possibly be so many people at Archie's funeral? He grew up in Walford but hasn't lived there in about sixty years so wouldn't have any friends there. In the short time he's been back he definitely didn't make any new mates. And there seemed to be a lot of people who knew him only in passing. I believe in Roxy's grief, but Peggy should have been ashamed of herself. Janine, I don't understand at all.
