Life imitating art
I was sad to hear that Sally Whittaker, like her character Sally Webster, has breast cancer. It also looks like the actress's cancer is much more serious than the character's. How sad. She's a mother-of-three, the oldest is 15. I hope she recovers completely from this.

Re: Life imitating art
I heard about that, something to do with, because of the storyline Sally had decided to check her breasts. Good job she did. I hope she recovers well.

I don't know if there are more cases nowadays or if we're just hearing more about it. Another of the Nolan sisters has it too. Three of my friends have had it, one just got diagnosed a few weeks ago. They've GOT to find a cure for this awful disease.

I hope your friends are okay Jo (well as ok as they can be). Fingers crossed for them

Re: Life imitating art
Thank you, Lou. Two of them were diagnosed a few years ago and so far they're fine. The other has all her treatment still to come.

I see Sally's back and wearing a wig. Hope she's OK.
